What it Takes to be an MSS Volunteer
- Volunteers are expected to be available for the full day. Check in starts at 10:00 AM and your shift will go until approximately 7:00 PM. You should only commit as a volunteer if you are able to volunteer for the full day.
- Your duties may vary throughout the day. We cannot guarantee that you will always have the opportunity to see the competition. So please keep this in mind when committing as a volunteer.
- Be prepared to work in all weather conditions.
- Good physical condition and able to stand for long periods of time.
- Be committed to the success of the event by completing your assignment(s).
- Need to be adaptable and flexible. Assignments change throughout the day based on the event needs. At times there are competition or weather delays, so it's expected that volunteers be flexible with their time.
- Helpful in every capacity.
Note:
All volunteers are responsible for their own transportation to and from the event. We are unable to provide lodging for volunteers.
