DIRT
is a four-piece band from the rock and roll city of Cleveland, Ohio composed
of Dave ”DBC” Burzanko on lead vocals and turntables, Jim Bryant
on guitars, Justin Pocock on bass, and Mark Patrick on drums. The group
blends many influences and musical styles such as rap, hard rock, metal,
punk, industrial, techno and hip-hop. Dirt started in 1996 by Burzanko
as a studio project. In 1999, Patrick left a pop rock band to put his efforts
into the project. The quartet was complete after recruiting Jim from a
local recording studio and Justin from the music scene of their hometown.
Dirt’s heavily rhythmic sound and DBC’s compelling lyrics
and vocal style make for a look into the future of rock underlined by
the past. Dirt’s self-released Enhanced CD “Welcome To The
Pressure Cooker” is selling steadily all across the globe from Japan
to Australia, Europe and the US. Dirt music has been featured on Fox Sports
Net, MTV, Swept Away TV, ASA Events and many extreme sports DVD’s
in the US and Europe including The Starboyz, Street Racers, The European
Paintball Championships, Derder Video Productions and Redbull. Dirt has
also been gaining commercial radio success in many markets worldwide.
