Skateboarding Legend Tony Hawk Kicks Off Final Weekend
of the Toyota Xtreme Zone and the Mobile Skatepark Series at
California State Fair!

On Friday, September 2nd, legendary skateboard marvel Tony Hawk proves to attendees of the California State Fair just how amazing he still is! Tony will perform two 40 minute vert demonstrations inside the Toyota Xtreme Zone, at 5:30 pm and again at 7:00 pm. The Tony Hawk demo kicks off a weekend of action sports, as the Mobile Skatepark Series makes its return visit to the California State Fair, bringing along with it all of the stars of action sports, including Jamie Bestwick, Sandro Dias, Fabiola Da Silva, the Yasutoko Brothers, Ryan Nyquist, Pierre-Luc Gagnon and many more!

Witness history, as the inline amateurs compete in the America's Championships, for an opportunity to qualify pro for the 2006 season. Freestyle Motocross demos rock the fair at 4:45 pm and again at 6:15 pm. Then, be sure to check out the TONY HAWK Vert Demonstration at 5:30 and again at 7:30! The evening closes with Northern California's very own MIGGS performing live on the Toyota Xtreme Zone concert stage!

The Mobile Skatepark Series continues with pro and amateur skateboarders taking center stage, as the #1 skateboarding vert athlete, Sandro Dias, competes against top ranked Pierre-Luc Gagnon, Jake Brown, Tas Pappas, Neal Hendrix and many more! Other festivities include more Freestyle Motocross excitement, break dancing in The Yard, video games, and a live concert performance by NIMBUS!

Pro aggressive inline skaters, like the #1 and #2 ranked Yasutoko Brothers, Fabiola Da Silva, Shane Yost and Marc Englehart, battle it out for the MSS Sacramento Vert title. Plus the world's best park skaters compete in an amazing Best Trick format on the MSS park course! Taking it to the music stage will be local favorite, NU-CLEAR!

Putting their own exclamation point to the end of the MSS stop in Sacramento will be the action sports super stars of freestyle BMX! #1 riders like Ryan Nyquist and Jamie Bestwick will bring their amazing BMX stunts to the crowds of the California State Fair, as they go head-to-head against the top names in BMX, including John Parker, Rick Thorne, Tom Stober, Tom Haugan and many more! Scheduled to perform on the Toyota Xtreme Zone concert stage are Los Angeles bands Aroarah and Pico Train!
